Boozer and Williams Shine, Jazz Blow Out Bulls
Utah 105, Chicago 86
The Utah Jazz can be thankful for a strong win. The Bulls can now be thankful that their HRBL road trip is almost over.
Carlos Boozer led all scorers with 28 points as the Jazz took care of business at the EnergySolutions Arena. The Jazz used a quick transition offense and a few backdoor plays to pull away in the third quarter.
The Jazz also finished by shooting over 60 percent from the floor tonight. Paul Millsap finished with 12 points / 9 rebounds, and looked great on the defensive end.
The Bulls looked like they were on Tryptophan overload tonight. They committed sloppy turnovers, especially in the second half. Lou Deng led the Bulls with 26 points. Joakim Noah simply could not handle his assignments, whether he had to guard Okur, Millsap, or Boozer.
And now, the first annual NBA Today Turkey Leg Award goes to…
Carlos Boozer. He looked hungry for seconds (or thirds) on this Thanksgiving day. He played hard on both ends of the court, netting 28 points on offense and 8 rebounds / 3 blocks on the defensive end. To add to that, Boozer shot perfect from the field through an entire half.
Enjoy the rest of your Turkey day,
-Duts
