Jarron is just hrbl

The Phoenix Suns claimed Jarron Collins off waivers and were “awarded” the claim on Sunday.  WHAT IN THE WORLD WERE THEY THINKING. 

I understand Robin Lopez is hurt and they need size in the paint but that is literally all Collins provides, a 6’11″ frame.  Collins is such trash and I think he qualifies as a top 3 worst big man of all-time.  He brings nothing to the table and was blessed with height, but that is all that got him to the NBA. 

I believe the Suns could send Leonardo Barbosa in as the 5 and they would be better off.  Barbosa would be a pesky low post defender on a guy like Al Jefferson or Tim Duncan, for example.  Jarron Collins would just get played out by the best centers of the West.  In my opinion, Collins was a waste of whatever they paid him to join the club, whether it was $10 or the veterans minimum for 7 years of $1.1 million.  If you want to pay someone to suck, sign me, I’m unemployed. Oh yeah, and don’t even get me started on his brother…
